Positano – Amalfi – Ravello

After with a rich breakfast buffet, you are ready to go on a tour of the Sorrento and Amalfi Coast. A driver with a reserved car will lead you to the discovery of the wonderful landscape of the “Divine” starting from the Sorrento Coast along a scenic road to Positano, where there is a stop at Belvedere della Madonna for the usual photos, admiring – from the most high – all Positano, a picturesque seaside village, with multicolored waterfall-effect houses that slope down to the sea, with bugainville gardens, its numerous shops, elegant and colorful, which have made fashion in the world and made it a tourist destination in the international jet set.

It starts again through the picturesque villages of Praiano, where it is possible to observe the Grotta del Presepe and the beach of Praia, Furore, with the incredible vision of the “Madonna and Child” (a monolith) a natural stone sculpture. We will also admire “the Fiord of Furore” with the fishing village, famous location for many films and we will arrive in Conca dei Marini.

From there, our customers can choose whether to make a stop at the Emerald Grotto from where it is possible to admire the Saracen Tower or continue the tour towards Amalfi, one of the four Maritime Republics, directly overlooking the sea, with the beautiful Cathedral of S. Andrea , the historic center, the paper mills, the paper museum, the peasant art museum, the ancient Arsenals, the guard towers, its noble palaces.

Lunch will be at the discretion of customers, if they wish, the hotel will organize lunch in a typical restaurant with a traditional menu.

We will then travel, through Atrani, the village nestled between two mountains, a peak on the sea, the smallest municipality in Italy, and we will reach Ravello: a unique scenario, where we will welcome terraced cultivations of Lemons and Olives. Ravello, the “Pearl of the Divine Coast”, rich in history and culture, high on the coast, dove dominates the landscape, similar and a terrace open on the sea.

Visit its fascinating Duomo and the famous Villas: Villa Rufolo with its Tower and the enchanting places that inspired Richard Wagner to integrate the “Parsifal”, Villa Cimbrone the noble palace, with its garden and the mythical terrace of infinity. From which you can enjoy a unique, indescribable panorama, undoubtedly the most beautiful in the world.

On the way back we will stop in a laboratory where you can taste the famous “Limoncello” or “Sfusato Amalfitano”.
Return to the hotel in the evening, after a day so full of emotions, the terrace of the Sottovento hotel will be your paradise, simply delicious.
