Royal Palace of Caserta and San Leucio

After with a rich breakfast buffet, you are ready to reach the magnificent Caserta with the driver and private car.
First stop, the fabulous Royal Palace, hunting residence of the Bourbons: from Philip V to Ferdinand II, the king “farinello”.

Upon request, we will continue to organize a visit to the Royal Palace: through the royal staircase we will enter the Royal apartments, up to the Throne room.
The outdoor spaces are very suggestive: the magnificent tropical gardens, the ponds, the fountains, the English garden, to be covered in a carriage or on foot.
Recently, the Royal Palace is open to visitors even in the evening with truly exciting lighting.

Lunch will be at the discretion of customers, if they wish, the Hotel will organize lunch in a typical restaurant with a traditional menu.

After the visit to the Royal Palace, we will continue to the Royal site of San Leucio: the industrial city built by King Ferdinand IV of Bourbon in the eighteenth century, a real city of workers, with an organization of services and a quality of life for citizens, futuristic for that time.
From there we will pay a visit to the Bourbon silk museum, where original wooden looms are still functional for the production of fabrics, damask silk drapes.

Return to the hotel in the evening where the terrace of the Hotel Sottovento will be your paradise, for a dinner and a simply delicious “after dinner”.
